Our stay at Las Casitas was truly a delight, offering spacious accommodations with breathtaking views. The infinity pool was a highlight, and we enjoyed the local food options, though dining at the Conquistador was a bit underwhelming. Overall, the service was exceptional, but the dining experience could use improvement. It was a splurge for our family, but the value was evident in the service and amenities provided.

Dining

While we had some great local meals, dining at the Conquistador left much to be desired, with bland and overpriced options.

I had an incredible time at the resort, surrounded by stunning tropical architecture and breathtaking views. The accommodations were comfortable and perfect for families, with plenty of amenities that enhance the experience. While the food was decent, it could be a bit pricey for what you get. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, especially with the added charm of having a private island getaway just a short ferry ride away.

Rooms
8.0
The one-bedroom suite we stayed in was beautifully designed and spacious, offering panoramic views of the surrounding sea and islands. However, the lighting was a bit dim and the air conditioning was a little noisy at times.
Service
7.0
Service was attentive and helpful, especially with minor maintenance issues we encountered. However, recommendations for dining off the resort could have been better.
Location
10.0
The location on a cliff provided spectacular views of the ocean and neighboring islands. Being close to the private island ferry was a major highlight.
Dining
7.0
The food at the resort was good, though a bit expensive. We preferred dining at local spots for a more authentic and cost-effective experience.
Facilities
9.0
The resort boasts a large pool complex and well-kept grounds, offering plenty of amenities and activities for guests of all ages. The ferry service to the private island was extremely organized.

Our stay at the resort was full of mixed experiences. The location was pleasing, with great views and easy access to a variety of activities. The rooms were generally clean and spacious, which provided good comfort for our family. However, the service was inconsistent, especially in the dining areas, and some of the facilities showed signs of wear. Overall, despite some downsides, our kids had a great time.

Rooms
8.0
The room was spacious and clean, though it was starting to feel a bit dated. It was perfect for our family of five, giving us enough space to relax.
Service
6.0
Service was hit or miss. Some staff were incredibly accommodating, while others seemed overwhelmed and less attentive.
Location
9.0
The resort is located in a beautiful area with stunning views and easy access to various pools and activities, making it convenient for families.
Dining
5.0
Dining was okay, but we experienced slow service and inconsistent quality across the restaurants. Prices felt high for the overall experience.
Facilities
7.0
Facilities were good but seemed under-staffed, causing long wait times for attractions and dining.

Our stay at Las Casitas was quite the adventure, with stunning views and well-maintained grounds. While the rooms were cozy and offered decent amenities, the dining options left much to be desired with high prices and limited variety. The location was perfect for exploring all that Puerto Rico has to offer, but the overall food experience was lacking in creativity and flavor, detracting from the otherwise beautiful resort environment.

Rooms
7.0
The room we had was smaller but clean and comfortable, featuring a kitchenette. The air conditioning and water pressure were great. However, the bathroom felt outdated compared to standards in the U.S.
Service
7.0
The service from the staff was generally good, with some team members being particularly helpful and accommodating with our requests. However, after asking for a different room post our first two nights due to issues with the original unit, there was no compensation provided.
Location
9.0
Las Casitas is situated in a serene area away from the bustling San Juan, making it a great base for exploring attractions like the bio bay and El Yunque rainforest. The lush gardens and surroundings create a tropical paradise.
Dining
5.0
Dining on-site was overpriced and uninspired. Despite eating at a few different restaurants, we found the food to be mediocre at best, with few options that catered to varying tastes, especially for kids.
Facilities
8.0
The resort grounds, including the pools and gardens, were well-maintained and provided a relaxing environment. However, the limited dining facilities and high prices weren't ideal.

Las Casitas offers a unique experience with beautiful, spacious rooms and plenty of activities nearby. The resort is massive, which can sometimes feel overwhelming. The dining options are decent but not always consistent. Overall, it’s a solid choice for families looking for outdoor fun and adventures, although some areas could use a little updating.

Rooms
8.0
The casitas were spacious and came with a full kitchen, which was very convenient for our stay. Having a separate living area and a balcony made it feel like a home away from home.
Service
6.0
Service was a mixed bag. While some staff were helpful, it sometimes took a while to get towels or room service, and I did notice some inconsistencies.
Location
7.0
The location is beautiful, offering stunning views of the Caribbean, but the size of the resort can make it feel busy and crowded.
Dining
6.0
Dining choices were varied, with a standout Italian restaurant, but some meals on the resort fell short. Off-property restaurants offered better options.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities were good with multiple pools, but the large size of the resort made getting around a bit challenging. The beach is beautiful but has some rocky areas.
